What is a Pangram in Spelling Bee?▾
A Pangram is a word that contains every one of the 7 unique letters in the puzzle at least once. In Spelling Bee, finding a pangram awards the regular word length points plus an additional +7 bonus points! Every puzzle is guaranteed to have at least one pangram.
How is the score calculated in Spelling Bee?▾
Words with 4 letters are worth exactly 1 point. Words with 5 or more letters earn 1 point per letter (for example, a 6-letter word is worth 6 points). Pangrams receive their regular letter points plus an extra +7 point bonus.
When do new Daily Spelling Bee puzzles release?▾
A new Daily puzzle unlocks automatically at 00:00 UTC every single day. Because puzzles are generated deterministically based on the calendar date, you and all players worldwide receive the exact same puzzle on any given date.

Our game uses a clean, curated version of SCOWL (Spell Checker Oriented Word Lists) 2020.12.07 by Kevin Atkinson, filtered to size 60 (American & standard English common literary vocabulary). Vulgar slurs, proper nouns, and hyphenated words are excluded.
How does Unlimited Mode work?▾
Unlimited Mode allows you to generate new 7-letter puzzles on demand, with no daily restrictions. You can maintain up to 5 simultaneous games in progress and switch between them anytime.
